no branch of psychology, no psychologist, and no guru had the answers i wanted.as a 15 year-old salesman launching my career, i first asked the industry the obvious,
“how do i sell things to people?”while i was on the front lines making leads for home improvement and selling sunglasses retail, i began studying all the material i could find.
and just like the diligent martial artist i was, when a moment to use the material would arise in actual circumstances, i would execute and pay very close attention to the results.as my career developed and i matured into a true one-call-closer, my pockets deepened and i invested in all the gurus you know, i bought all the big packages, and meticulously documented their approach...
but i always ran into contradictions and black box mysticism.further, i discovered, most of the biggest names had really only found success in the business of selling sales training to struggling sales people and other public speaking gigs.why?
because sales can be a difficult craft. and it gets harder if you're stepping on your own foot by relying on sales systems rooted in mystic and contradictory theories of psychology.in comparison, by my mid-twenties, i had thousands of repetitions in every single discipline of sales and business from the dreaded cold call, to the one-call-close, and even collecting and running bad projects...(and good projects too don't get me wrong) more than any guru on stage.after years of producing with my own pen, and not finding any sales training that described what I saw in the field, i decided that i was asking the wrong question. so i flipped the paradigm and asked the industry...
“why do people buy and how do they make decisions?”i studied more, invested more, and again hit more institutional contradictions and black box can-kicking....keep in mind, being 20 years deep into a semi and full contact practical karate, and a tenured active straight commission six figure one-call-closing sales-managing-business owner...going through college textbooks on psychology was like being a streetfighter going to a fake karate dojo. every bit of nonsense screamed ERROR.

so i took a step back and reflected,
"wait a second, i have as much access to the primitives as any other man, and i have waaaaay more experience than an collegiate professor, or stage guru-why don't i ask myself...
-self, why do people do anything at all???
i'll figure out buying and selling from there."then i resolved to do just as i had done with karate,
take responsibility and develop my own count from zero for my own use based only on the objective mechanics of reality, and then to share it freely with any good-faith, good-humored, willing student...so here we sit,
me-the one-call-closer who broke determinism,
obsoleted point particle physics, and mapped the original law,
and you...whatever, however got you here...
